This eWorkshop has been designed to support K-12 content and EL educators as they interact with the resources introduced on the Doing and Talking Math and Science website.  Participants will engage through reading, viewing, and reflecting on how to build on multilingual learners' linguistic assets, their knowledge of the world and how it works, and to engage multilingual learners in questioning, thinking and solving problems in STEM learning environments. 

Instructions for Accessing the WIDA Secure Portal

Washington State participants need to contact WIDA Client Services Center at help@wida.us for assistance with setting up an account for the WIDA Secure Portal. WIDA will only provide access to participants who have a district email address. Please see linked step-by-step screenshots of the WIDA login process. Finding the Self-Paced eWorkshops in the WIDA Secure Portal

1. Access the WIDA Secure Portal.
2. Click on “WIDA eLearning” and that will take you to the eLearning “Dashboard.”
3. Scroll to the Self-Paced eWorkshop tile and click on the course link OR use the left hand navigation bar, click on "Courses", and then click on the course link.
