Description

Teaching personal finance may well be the most personally satisfying experience of your teaching career!

Many teachers say teaching personal finance has revitalized their passion to teach, as they incorporate real-world, relevant material into their curriculum.  Are you interested in deepening your content knowledge of personal finance?   Would you like ideas on  how to integrate personal finance into existing curriculum?  We are here to help!

Introducing the Financial Education Masters Teacher Training for 6-12 educators.  This training is a fun and informative one-day advanced level professional development opportunity.

Participants will receive materials (at no charge) which can be incorporate into classrooms as well as adapt to virtual teaching. This information will prepare students and potentially their families with vital skills for life.

The financial challenges facing us today are huge—parents and students are hungry for practical financial knowledge. After this training, you will be there to provide it, with backup from our cadre of mentor teachers (FEPPP Fellows) and content experts.

We are confident this will transform teaching and student learning.  We are able to provide this training at no charge to you, thanks to the generous contributions from FEPPP partners, particularly Department of Financial Institutions, and The Center of Economic Education at Western Washington University who recognize the importance of bringing personal finance to our students.
