The Introduction to WaKIDS for District Schools and Administrators Course is designed for district and school administrators, including principals, assistant principals, early learning coordinators, district office administrators and School Board members. This three-hour asynchronous course provides contextual information for the three components of WaKIDS (Family Connection, Early Learning Collaboration, and the Whole-child Assessment), as well an overview on how to leverage MyTeachingStrategies® report functionalities to support teachers, data collection, and analysis.  

Introduction to WaKIDS for District Schools and Administrators Course is asynchronous and does not contain any in-person meetings. Participants can complete the three-hour course anytime between July 13, 2022 and November 2, 2022. Clock hours are not offered for this course. 

This course is intended to prepare administers to support teachers with WaKIDS. Completion of the course does not allow the participant to administer the Whole-child Assessment component of WaKIDS. If you need access to MyTeachingStrategies® please contact your District Assessment Coordinator.

3. You will be taken to the OSPI Moodle landing page.  
   1. If you have an existing OSPI Moodle account, enter in your username and password.
   2. If you are new to OSPI’s Moodle, select Create new account. Follow the instructions to create a new account. A confirmation email will be sent to your email. Please confirm your email.
4. Enter in the enrollment key WaKIDSAdmin2022. This key is case sensitive.
