Join us for a no cost presentation provided by attorneys who help people better manage their student loan debt. Learn important things you should know about your loan, including best practices for dealing with the debt. The workshop will cover types of loans and how to find out what type you have, payment plans, loan forgiveness options including PSLF and Teacher Loan Forgiveness, private student loan issues, defaulted loans, student loan scams, bankruptcy, & resources. There will be time at the end for questions and answers.
This workshop is a collaboration between the Financial Education Public-Private Partnership (FEPPP) and CENTS. CENTS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of helping people improve their financial health. CENTS’ Debt Slapped program is provided to high school students throughout Washington and beyond.
