Learn how to turn your voice into power as advocates for students and families experiencing homelessness. In this training participants will have an opportunity to get a deep understanding of how to navigate the public school system and its support programs for students and families experiencing homelessness. In this training we will cover parts of the McKinney-Vento mandate, you will learn about eco-mapping for providers and create one for your own community and understand resources available to you at district and state level.

The Education Strategy team transforms ideas into action, fostering the supportive relationships and healthy environments needed to improve student centered services for the more than 40,000 students experiencing homelessness in Washington.
