This training will provide detailed information on the HIB requirements for districts in Washington state. State law, definitions, and required timelines will be discussed to provide HIB Compliance Officers with a thorough overview of requirements and processes to ensure compliance and the ability to serve and assist their students and families. In addition to HIB requirements, this training will include information on the overlap of HIB with Discriminatory Harassment including: how to identify Discriminatory Harassment, the requirements for districts to investigate, and the specific timelines associated with the investigation.
