Description
This day long training will provide information and planning opportunities for co-teaching teams, focused on implementing and improving instructional strategies and collaborative planning when co-teaching for students with disabilities. Specific information provided will include:
- Clarifying the definition and purpose for co-teaching
- The six models of co-teaching
- Strategies for co-planning
- Roles and Responsibilities in co-teaching
- Integrating specially designed instruction into the classroom routines
Co-Teaching teams (general education teacher & special education teacher), building administrators, instructional coaches, and special education administrators/supervisors are invited to attend.
Lunch will be provided, clock hours will be available at the conclusion of the training.
