Description

This day long training will provide information and planning opportunities for co-teaching teams, focused on implementing and improving  instructional strategies and collaborative planning when co-teaching for students with disabilities.  Specific information provided will include:

  • Clarifying the definition and purpose for co-teaching 
  • The six models of co-teaching
  • Strategies for co-planning
  • Roles and Responsibilities in co-teaching
  • Integrating specially designed instruction into the classroom routines

Co-Teaching teams (general education teacher & special education teacher), building administrators, instructional coaches, and special education administrators/supervisors are invited to attend.

Lunch will be provided, clock hours will be available at the conclusion of the training.
