Hello All, It appears that the Virtual Math Department idea was good in theory, but is not meeting your needs in practice. We have had 4 or fewer participants at each meeting, which is not sustainable. To that end, we are cancelling this course. If you attended one or more of the first 3 meetings, you can claim your clock hours in December when the course officially ends (you'll get an announcement). If you are looking for a good place to collaborate, I recommend that you apply to be a Washington State Math Fellow. Applications are open through September 23rd (coming soon) and can be found here: https://www.k12.wa.us/educator-support/educator-leadership/washington-state-fellows-network Fellows will be meeting in shorter periods of time than usually, probably 2ish hours in the afternoon once a month. This is an awesome way to get connected with other teachers across your region and the state. If you are in the Puget Sound Region another good resource is the District Math Leaders group.
