Description
ASCD PD Online courses are self-paced, web-based, media-rich learning experiences that help users deepen their understanding of today's most important education topics. Each course includes video content, readings, auto-graded assessments, downloadable applications, and reflections. You must register for your class through Puget Sound ESD in order to request PSESD clock hours or Seattle University college credit. Instructions for requesting clock hours or SU credit will be included in your registration confirmation email. Register anytime between now and August 15, 2019, but your course MUST be completed by August 31, 2019.
In The Brain: Memory and Learning Strategies, 2nd Edition, you will learn about the physical structures of the human brain that create and retain memories and how to use this information to improve your classroom teaching practice. The more you understand about how people form and retain memories, the more you will be able to help your students learn and use the academic content you are teaching them.
