Description
This training will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to improve the quality, effectiveness and use of evidence-based practices when providing Special Education Instruction in inclusive settings. Information presented will include a focus on a) compliance with IDEA requirements as well as effective instructional practices, b) individualizing for students with any type of disability (Pre- K through 21), and c) providing specially designed instruction in a variety of inclusive settings including but not limited to co-taught classrooms.The training is a combination of presentations and opportunities for individuals to work in pairs or small groups for application practice and discussion of the skills presented.
Special Education Teachers, Instructional Coaches, Building Administrators & District Special Education Leaders are invited to attend.
