Description
Drs. McNaught and Biegun will explore the research to practice gap specific to fostering self-determination in students with disabilities by examining the relationship between Self-Determination Theory, implementing interventions with fidelity, and generalizing the self-determined behaviors across different environments. Specific tools will be shared and linked to increasing student participation in IEP meetings through a student-led approach.
This two-hour training will be held virtually via Zoom. Clock hours available.
