This is the first session of a five-part virtual series to discuss gender based violence and the impact of this violence on our youth and the greater community. In the first session of this series, Terri Stewart, a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE) from UW will provide information and current data regarding sexual assault in our region and provide insight on the response and assessment of the victim. Participants will have the opportunity to increase their awareness of this issue in our society and gain a better understanding of its impact on the K-12 population. 

Please note that each session operates individually and can be taken as desired. (Ex. Participant can take session 1 & 3 or 2 & 5, etc.)
