Day 1 of the EdTech Summit will focus mainly on ChatGPT/Generative AI. Our Keynote speaker and presenter of the day Molly Brinkley, ESD 123 Regional Educational Technology Coordinator, will take our teachers through the journey of exploring ChatGPT as a tool while uncovering its limitations. The group will have time to see what this tool can (and cannot) do and how to harness it as a professional and use it to their advantage in their work. The second half of the day there will be a couple of options. One option will be to explore how to use ChatGPT in the classroom and with students. The other option will be a Building Engagement Through Blended Learning module where teachers will learn about how to build station rotations or playlists to maximize student choice and independent learning supported by EdTech.
