The Inclusionary Practices Summit will provide attendees with professional learning designed to reflect the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), emphasizing engagement, representation, and action/expression to meet the needs of all learners. Educators will have the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker KC Knudson of Novak Consulting. KC specializes in leveraging deep knowledge of the learning process and leadership theory to create inclusive schools and classrooms that work for all learners. Participants will also experience workshop learning focused on specific aspects of UDL, such as designing curriculum materials that incorporate multiple means of representation and developing engaging learning activities that offer students choice and autonomy.
